In the latest fourth-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, Ross Stores has delivered "strong sales and earnings growth", while Urban Outfitters reported a drop in fourth-quarter earnings. Elsewhere, department store retailer Target Corp has booked a rise in both total revenue and net earnings, sales at Crocs have increased by 21.8%, and JCPenney said it expects to close at least six stores in the year ahead following a drop in fourth-quarter sales and net income.
