DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Cristina was located near latitude 20.6 North, longitude 122.2 West. Cristina is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h). This general motion is expected to continue for the remainder of the weekend and into early next week. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Cristina should steadily weaken over the next few days and become a remnant low by early next week. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 999 mb (29.50 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
