Sri Lanka Apparel Exports (Quarterly Report)

2020-11-10 18:10:14| EmergingTextiles.com

Sri Lanka's apparel exports have begun to recover in September, thanks to a surge in knit clothing shipments to the European Union. The return of European countries to lockdown and new Covid-19 cases in Sri Lanka could weaken the rebound in sales, however. Our statistical series provides an overall view of Sri Lanka's clothing exports in the first three quarters of 2020, with volume, value, and unit value changes per destination in the second quarter. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. Tables also include US and EU clothing imports from Sri Lanka per product category. All data are available for download.
