LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Software Engineer mfd to work within the Software Engineering Team in our Gilching close to Munich or Darmstadt offices to design, develop and test software, with focus on Ground Segment Systems. The main tasks will be Full lifecycle application development Fullstack web application development Designing, coding and debugging applications Software analysis and requirements analysis Graphical user interface design mainly web Software testing and quality assurance Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation Academic requirements a University or similar degree in computer science, engineering or similar discipline. Skills Proficient in languages such as Java, C, or Python Experience with Web technologies javascript frameworks, html5, css3 Experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes Systemminded and a team player Quick learner Selfstarter, able to work independently with little or no supervision in a small team Fluent in English, both in speech and writing The candidate must show a genuine interest in space and ground systems Additional experience of any of the following is also desirable Building and maintaining multistage CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, GIT, and Nexus. Experience with Spring framework Managing cloudbased infrastructure on AWS, Azure using Kubernetes k8s Experience with databases desirable German language skills would be a plus Benefits A permanent employment contract.
