Silk Prices in China (Quarterly Report)

2020-07-07 19:12:58| EmergingTextiles.com

Silk prices are falling again in China, after sharply rebounding in May from their dramatic decline in April. This extreme volatility is in line with the rising uncertainties about the prospects of the luxury industry, which has been severely affected by the current pandemic. Our quarterly report provides daily prices in the past 12 months and monthly average prices over the last ten years for silk and dried cocoons on China's domestic market, with an in-depth analysis of the latest and long-term trends. China's raw silk and silk yarn export prices are released over the past eight years along with EU's silk import data, including average import prices over the last five years. All data are available for download.
