Silk Prices in China (Quarterly Report)

2020-03-24 19:15:26| EmergingTextiles.com

Silk prices have begun to plunge in the last days in China, over a fall in demand from producers of apparel and accessories, as retail sales have stopped in Western countries, and contracts are being canceled. Our quarterly report provides daily prices in the past 12 months and monthly average prices over the last ten years for silk and dried cocoons on China's domestic market, with an in-depth analysis of the latest and long-term trends. China's raw silk and silk yarn export prices are also released over ten years along with EU's silk import data, including average import prices over the last five years. All data are available for download.
