Polyester chain prices have stayed relatively stable in the past week. A high level in their inventories forced China's PTA production to shut many plants for maintenance operations. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
