Polyester chain price rebounded this Monday in Asia over a tight supply situation on the paraxylene and MEG markets. Demand is stimulated by anticipations of higher prices after the Chinese holidays. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
