PTA and MEG prices have been supported by the rebound in demand for polyester in China. Gross margins have risen at polyester plants, however, in line with a significant rise in fiber prices. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. All data are available for download.
