ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY This role serves as a contact person in the Playout Operation area for Engineering and Customer Service departments. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the broadcast as well as the 1st and 2nd level support. You will provide service monitoring, single channel monitoring as well as multichannel monitoring for more than 50 channels. In addition, the Playout Operator handles special broadcasts, live broadcasts and changes requested by the customer. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Independent and autonomous operation of the transmission automation and server systems Monitoring of broadcast quality Reporting of outages, failures incl. relevant ticket generation First and second line service in case of major incidents and maintenance of broadcasting Operation of the measuring devices, switchers and communication facilities Monitoring and control of the DVB broadcast equipment Quality check of incoming lines audio signals COMPETENCIES Good communication skills and serviceoriented mindset Problem solving skills Excellent teamwork and crossfunctional cooperation Constant motivation to drive improvements Enthusiasm to familiarize oneself with new technologies and to implement it in operative processes Distinctive flexibility and team spirit Independent, Structured, solutionoriented and reliable approach Willingness to work shift 3shift schedule QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Ideally completed technical vocational training in the media sector 3 years experience in Live Operating and Broadcast Support Experience in working with IP technology and audiovideo solutions Proficient German and English language skills Apply HERE
