Serco and Proud Make a difference every day. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a IS Support Manager, based in Italy. Main Responsibilities The postholder will focus on the below main responsibilities Provide data science support for the project Big Data and Forecasting Economic Developments hosted in the Centre of Advanced Studies including i the management of SQL and noSQL databases, in particular Elasticsearch , ii the analysis of big datasets, in particular using R and Python iii the analysis of text using advanced Natural Language Processing NLP techniques, iv the development in R or Python of a dashboard to visualize macroeconomic data in realtime. Provide data science support to the other projects hosted in the Centre of Advanced Studies Successful Candidate The successful Candidate will bring Good knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch Advanced knowledge of R and Python Good knowledge of NLP Advanced knowledge of tools to create advanced dashboards General skills Good knowledge of English. Capacity to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary environment.
