The sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) market is expected to reach nearly $66 billion by 2030 and soar to $655 billion by 2050, and jet fuel tech developers are latching on to waste as feedstock to meet demand. The first innovators have focused largely on agricultural byproducts, but there isnt enough of the material to satiate airlines appetites as they commit to net-zero carbon by 2050.
