000 ABPZ20 KNHC 240543 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Mon Aug 23 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Marty, located about 400 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. A broad area of low pressure located less than 200 miles offshore of Guatemala and southern Mexico continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are forecast to be favorable for gradual development of this system, and a tropical depression is likely to form by the middle to latter part of this week.
