Environmental conditions remain favorable for continued development, and a tropical depression is likely to form tonight or on Wednesday while the low moves west-northwestward at about 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent. An area of low pressure is forecast to develop well south of the coast of southern Mexico late this week and move westward at 10 to 15 mph.
