(Telecompaper) Dell Technologies announced a collaboration with Orange to demonstrate the mobile broadband capabilities of its first 5G-ready Latitude laptop. Unveiled at CES in January, the Latitude 9510 achieved a download speed of over 900 Mbps as part of live field trials relying on an Orange 5G site in Paris. The demonstration, carried out on an enterprise-grade platform, makes the Latitude 9510 the first laptop to pass Orange 5G testing, said the company, adding that it showcases the opportunities of new usage models for always-connected PCs.
