Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have climbed further in the past week on both futures and physical markets, as the textile production is slowly recovering. China's demand for US cotton has again supported prices, in addition, whereas two tropical storms could partly threaten the U.S. crop. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. Organic and BCI cotton prices in India and Pakistan are also released. All data are available for download.
