Position Reference 829 On behalf of ESA, we are currently looking for a Component Technology Engineer to work in its Site ESTEC in the city of Noordwjik, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Providing expert technical support and consultancy to ESA projects and programmes regarding microwave, photonic or Si components throughout all project phases. Participating in project reviews and evaluation of procurement proposals. Contributing to the definition of technology development requirements and work plans for the Agencys technology programmes. Defining, initiating and managing RD activities. Supporting technology domainrelated standardisation activities ESCC, ECSS. Initiating and monitoring laboratory activities including preparation of test plans and reviews of test reports. Contributing to the dissemination of the results of the activities performed and the transfer of knowledge across the Agency. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics or equivalent, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience. Experience in EEE engineering, preferably for space application, in one or more of the following domains active microwave, Silicon and photonics. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience from general EEE support for Space projects.
