We are currently looking for an Assistant Communications Officer to support our customer in Germany. Assistant Communications Officer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. In this role you will be supporting the Outreach Communication unit in Preparing and managing of events and outreach actions Maintaining of media relations and tools Drafting and followingup of news articles including translations and production of multimedia content for the ESA national web pages including publication via ESA publishing system Followingup of cooperations and partnerships. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in journalism or communication Several years experience in a similar role High degree of computer literacy including MS Office products and desktop publishing software Excellent communication and organisational skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Darmstadt. We are looking for candidates who are available from December 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
