Due to new projects and organic growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. You will be joining a core team 8 that is part of wider, transnational teams 2050, focusing on 12 large projects at any one time. The projects you will be managing have a timeframe of 25 years and a 0.520 mill value. We are looking for someone who comes from a Product drive background within an electronics field such as Medical, Aircraft, Automotive, Space and similar electronics industries. As a Project Manager, you will have experience in leading teams of technology experts and guiding them to successful outcomes. You main responsibilities will be learning from others, knowledge sharing, managing projects endtoend and developing new technology to a range of clients. The role comes with regular UK and occasional international travel. Tasks accountabilities Manage a multifunctional team including Engineering, Procurement, Test Systems, Production and PA functions Ensure contracts are delivered On Quality, On Time and On Cost. Develop and produce electronic equipment for satellite applications. Ensure the customer requirements are established and maintained through change control. Keep in contact with the customer, manage their expectations, spot red flags and risks and generally be responsible for all aspects of the equipmentdeliverables resulting in customer satisfaction Support bidding activities Ensure proposals are produced on time and effectively Provide inputs to the Monthly Review, Business Reviews and other Airbus Defence and Space relevant reviews and in line with the agreed methods and principles. Ensure programmes effectively focus on mitigation of risk to result in successful completion. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills Track record in caring about what the customer wants and ensuring these needs are met utilising communication, knowledge sharing, organisation skills and putting people in contact. In depth experience of leading electronic engineering developments electrical, mechanical and FPGAASIC design from concept through to production and delivery Indepth experience of managing projects and people both locally and remotely. A proven track record of project delivery in a development and production environment Be able to communicate in a relevant manner with all parties, this will include engineering group staff and internal and external customers, as well as other supporting functions, such as Design, Production, Quality, Test, etc. Engage in detailed discussion and negotiation with external suppliers. Senior Spacecraft RF Communication Systems Engineer

Job Description Astroscale is seeking to employ an experienced and motivated Senior Spacecraft RF Communication Systems Engineer at our facility based in Harwell, UK. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing company seeking to make a positive contribution to the growing problem of orbital debris that endangers mankinds continued use of space as an asset. This role will allow the right candidate to shape solutions for our missions. Whilst the candidate will primarily work in the UK, they will interact extensively with a larger team in Astroscales Japan Office and may expect to be required to travel to Tokyo as needed in support of Astroscale projects and operations. Responsibilities Lead development and design activities for RF Comms subsystems on Astroscale spacecraft derive and maintain subsystem requirements define and develop subsystem architecture perform tradeoff analysis of hardware software solutions developing link budgets define FMECA and FDIR processes Coordinate with other teams at subsystem and at system level to define ConOps, ICDs, development and verification plans. Plan, prepare, lead, conduct subsystems and system level verification tests, including environmental testing. Work with the UK based Ground segment and operations teams in support of our mission operations globally. Interact with partners and suppliers for the provision of RFcomms equipment. Support procurement engineers with specification, tradeoff and selection of RFComms equipment. Participate in review of the deliverables in support of the project milestones. Essential Skills experience Diploma bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering or relevant engineeringscience discipline. 5 years of commercial experience RF design test of highperformance microwave communications systems for satellites. Understanding of RF communications and various modulation techniques. Experience using RF and microwave test equipment VNAs, spectrum analyzers and signal generators and simulation tools. Operational experience of RF systems on spacecraft missions. Experience in developing and conducting test plans for spacecraft avionics. Good understanding of spacecraft mission lifecycle and milestones e.g. MDR, PDR, CDR, etc. Good understanding of system engineering managing requirements through the full project lifecycle. Desired Skills Experience Demonstrable experience of spacecraft design lifecycle at all stages from initial concept to design, test, and operations. Experience of analysis radiation tolerances and knowledge of radiation hardness assurance for Low Earth Orbit applications. Whilst the working language across all Astroscale divisions is English, proficiency in spoken andor written Japanese would be considered an asset.
